How DealShield invitations work
DealShield uses a small, independently approved invitation cohort to tell selected businesses that a profile has been prepared for review.
Purpose and limits
An invitation links to a business profile and explains how to claim, correct, or remove it. It does not prove ownership, authorize publication by itself, or enroll the recipient in DealPort or DealShield messaging.
Suppression and stopping
Invitation cohorts are frozen and reviewed before launch. Duplicate, suppressed, unapproved, bounced, or complained recipients trigger documented stop controls. Each invitation wave requires separate approval; later waves do not launch automatically.
Your choices
Recipients can ignore the invitation, request removal, complete an ownership claim, or use the provider’s required unsubscribe mechanism. DealShield honors applicable suppressions for its own invitations and does not represent that DealPort-wide preferences have changed.

Use the relevant profile’s correction/removal route or visit Support. Urgent privacy or ownership concerns pause the affected workflow while they are reviewed.
